Today (Dec 22) is the last day of 2nd quarter and school dismisses at 12:50 pm. The buses will depart campus at 1 pm. Winter Break is December 23-January 5 so offices will be closed. The Heart of America Foundation has a free student solar program that brings solar panels, batteries, lights and refrigeration to students on the Navajo Nation who do not have reliable access to electricity. There are three main requirements for families to qualify for the program: They must have a student who resides in the home full time. They must not have NTUA power or be connected to the grid. They must live somewhere on the Navajo Nation.
